Hello everyone!

So your LOLbender mods @hibana and @lemonorangelime will be going to Anime Expo, and we were wondering if people would be interested in a meetup? And if things go as planned, I’ll be going as Asami and @lemonorangelime as Korra. Which days, where and when aren’t decided yet, but more details will come as it gets closer!

Anime Expo is Friday, 6/29 - Monday, 7/2, 2012 at Los Angeles Convention Center

According to NASA, the eclipse will begin at sunrise local time in southern China, then pass over Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo, and the western United States. After entering California, the moon’s shadow will block the sun’s light along a course from Reno to the Grand Canyon in Arizona to Albuquerque to Lubbock, Texas.

A partial eclipse will be viewable over a much wider area, stretching over most of eastern China, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Siberia, Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Mexico and much of the United States except for the eastern seaboard, NASA says. But monsoons in Asia and clouds in the U.S. Northwest, South and Midwest could obscure the celestial show.

According to Wikipedia, it will be visible from the Chinese coast, northern Taiwan, the south of Japan, and the western part of the United States. Guangzhou, Taipei, Tokyo and Albuquerque will be on the central path.
